Strongly in favor.

One of the assertions that's driving deXULification, Go Faster, and some
other efforts this year and next is that Mozilla should not be different
for the sake of being different: we should aggressively adopt external
technologies, tools, conventions, and processes to make it easier for us to
leverage the work of others and to enable others to work with us.

On the Android side, that means making Fennec as close to a 'normal'
Android project as possible — normal code layout, normal documentation
conventions, using Gradle for building, using RecyclerView, *et al*.

This makes life slightly less comfortable for those who (a) use Vim, and
(b) don't use something like CtrlP[1], but we should not let that minority
hold everyone else hostage. The rest of the industry has spoken, and we
should listen.
