This is a request for approval to enable the "bookmark-history-menu" experiment for all Aurora and Beta users, and eventually Release users as well.
I filed a bug to track this request, but I wanted to communicate this more broadly, since this will be our first time using Switchboard for a staged roll-out of a feature. For details, see the bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1253588 To be clear, using Switchboard for staged roll-outs eliminates the need for changes to code in the tree. A commit to the switchboard-experiments repo will automatically update all clients to follow the new config, so users will see these changes in a matter of minutes. The flip side of this is that we can also roll back changes just as easily, without needing to spin new builds. Margaret
