I've pushed an update to the Windows Store for our Windows 8 Wikipedia app,
with some improvements that went in over the past weeks. This version is
built against the final release-to-manufacturing Windows 8 libraries, and
probably won't run on the Release Preview that came out this summer.

It's passed through review and the publishing channel, but it may still
take a couple hours to show up in search.

This is tagged as win8-release5 in the git repository. Improvements include:

Win8 system integration:
* type-to-search, like on the start screen!
* can now "share" text from other applications like IE *to* Wikipedia to do
a quick lookup
* fix for search activation
* fix for pinned tile activation

General:
* in-article "find" feature (may or may not be able to use this code on
other platforms, it's currently dependent on IE's TextRange)
* RTL article view fixes
* lots of UI consistency adjustments

Store fixes:
* added to all current markets

For those who are interested in hacking on the Win8 app themselves, there
are now instructions on how to set up a build environment and get started:
