CALL FOR PAPERS: HOW CAN HCI IMPROVE SOCIAL MEDIA DEVELOPMENT? You are invited to submit a paper to the NordiCHI 2008 workshop "How can HCI improve social media development?"in Lund, Sweden.
Workshop date: October 19 Submission deadline: September 10 The workshop theme is social media development from a HCI perspective, targeting both researches and practitioners. The workshop will be open to both presenting and non- presenting participants, and will include time for discussions in addition to paper presentations. Read more about the workshop here. Authors are encouraged to focus on one or more of three core issues: 1. Evolving patterns of social media use, and consequences for user requirements 2. Social media design 3. User-centered evaluation of social media applications.
