Hi, every time TOI is updated the accessibility takes a hit at least initially. However, after some trial and error, here is what you can do.
1. try starting/restarting the app.
you may feel that the screen is totally blank for the VoiceOver.
2. after n number of times, the headlines would appear on the screen and will be accessible.
The toi app now resembles the timesofindia mobile page a lot.
3. try double tapping any headline and the screen that will appear will be partially accessible. only the headline would be read out and some other buggy details. However, if you scroll further down, you will hear something like recommended stories. double tap any of them and you will be presented with the timesofindia mobile window which will be a mini browser sort of thing. you can click links like home, city and other sections and read all the stories in the browser window. 4. now your toi app is accessible and you can do all the things like sharing the article on facebook, twitter etc.

until the app is updated for accessibility, you can use the app this way.
