Dear all,
Some of you might remember me asking about the ideal phone to
purchase. So, I followed your advice and purchased the Motorolla G
second generation phone.
Be informed about the following things:
I am starting from square one, and want to learn Android myself, with
the assistance of you all, and no sighted people's intervention. I do
not want sighted people's help at this stage, since in that process I
end up learning much less than the approach I am going to take.
Furthermore, sighted people who are here, are not at all tech-savey
(not that I am, I am just interested to play with and learn about
technology).

So following are my questions:
How to hold a phone in the correct position?
Since the Motorolla G second generation does not have any physical
Home and Back buttons, which are always (correct me if I am wrong)
situated below the touch screen, I am not sure how to hold it
correctly. There are some other tactile buttons, so could you tell me
their place if the phone is held correctly? Is it possible for you to
know instantly how to hold a phone correctly the instant you get it,
or do you need sighted assistance?
How to start Talkback?
Could you explain the different techniques to start Talkback
independently on different phones, especially the Moto G gen 2? I know
about the Settings > Accessibility method, but that would require
sighted assistance, which I am not willing to taike at the moment.
You should be hearing a lot more from me in the coming days.
BTW, since I haven't started the phone or anything, I don't know if
the phone is on 4.4.2 or 4.4.4
I would appreciate any assistance.

Best Regards
Bhavya Shah
