hello! there are two ways ob finding contacts in ios: one using the spotlight or search by swiping three fingers down from any existing icon from the home screen. in this process the spotlight provides you with the suggestions from all the phone, apps, mail or web browser. how ever you can restrict the search suggestions from the spotlight settings under general settings. The second method is to search under the contacts tab in the phone app. it provides you with the matches from the saved contacts including the mail contacts from your mail account. if you don't want them to appear in the contact search, you can disable them by going to setting, mail contacts and calendar and by turning contacts in mail off. regards
