When creating some DIVs with DOM manipulation API, I started to use
some visual effects and what my surprise that when I call a appear in a
100%x100% div {from: 0.0, to: 0.8, duration: 0.3}, to override my page
content, ie6 allocs about 5MB of memory that is never cleaned by
garbage colector. I replaced the appear and fade lines with a
obj.style.display = 'none' / 'block' and it seems to work perfectly.

After the effects or display = 'none' I'm calling a removeChild(obj)
to try to discard my DIV element. And it don`t make any diference on
the memory used by ie6 and 7 beta 3.

Any one here had the same problem?
