Apologies if this is old news or off topic. A bug in Safari (tested with Version 2.0.4 (419.3)) causes it to crash when javascript prints a '%' character to console (so also if you use mochikit log!). Printing a url for debugging purposes which every now and then would contain an encoded char made it a right [EMAIL PROTECTED] bugger to find. I finally found the right clue at:
