Hi there,
There's nothing wrong with using setInterval and clearInterval with
MochiKit I think. You can ues it together with partial if you want
send some parameters to your function.
I guess a different way to do this with MochiKit would be:
function someRepeatingStuff(counter, interval) {
// Do something interesting here, change interval if you feel like it
MochiKit.Async.callLater(interval, someRepeatingStuff, counter+1, interval);
}
// will call itself in 5 second intervals and incrementing counter:
someRepeatingStuff(0, 5);
