If you are willing to share your code, I am sure others would be as well. It would be nice to have a calendar widget and other common things, but I don't know that there is a good solution out there as far as a framework or whatnot. Having developed a largish application in MochiKit (http://www.amazon.com/gp/gss/browse) I didn't come away thinking that adding a lot more code for a framework was the really right way to do things. (It feels like square peg, round hole.) I'd rather stay as close as I reasonably can to DOM and such, using MochiKit to smooth a few rough edges.
