I'm trying to use mod-fcgid to start set-uid PHP processes "on demand" but i can not get mod-fcgid to kill processes after a idle time with no more requests. I've tried setting IdleTimeOut and ProcessLifeTime with no effect. On first request the php interpreter is started and then the process remains running and running. What am i doing wrong?
