problem regading using tcl modules

Do i have to refollow all the same steps as was followed while installing mod_dtcl in using libpgtcl.so module (used for database interaction). i mean any module which i want to use shuld i follow all the same steps given in ur documentation or there is some other way.i want to use a self written module then what to do in order to integerate with mod-dtcl so that i can use it in my ttml file.   Thanx
