Ok, this is _definitely_ an issue with RedHat 7.3's /usr/lib/tclConfig.sh file, specifically (as far as mod_dtcl is concerned), the env. var:
TCL_SHLIB_LD: gcc -pipe -shared -Wl,-soname,libtcl.so.0 The previous versions of RedHat had: TCL_SHLIB_LD: gcc -pipe -shared which _does_ work. I'll fixup the RedHat RPM's appropriately.
