Shouldn't that line be
<cfset var result = translator.translate(phrase) />
Since you have this on line 54
<cfset var translator = createObject("component",
"projects.mg.translator.model.PigLatinTranslator").init("aeiou") />
I think the global search/replace is the culprit.
