Well I tried resetting the entire ColdFusion server and that didn't
have any effect on correcting the issue.  I did do more research on
the whole circular reference thing and ended up using a setter
injection instead of constructor injection as mentioned on the
ColdSpring site here: 
http://www.coldspringframework.org/coldspring/examples/quickstart/index.cfm?page=constructor
and low and behold I got compilation.

I still think that there's somewhere ColdSpring and Model-Glue were
holding onto the previous file, but now that it's working, I'll cross
that bridge when needed.  Thanks for pointing me in the right
direction Dan!
