The reason why I ask is because I want to make sure Backwards Compatibility from MG2 -> MG3 is seamless. So if applicationPath was in MG2, then I would either add a helper method or remove applicationMapping and replace it with application path. However, if it is strictly an MG3 addition, then I'd leave it as it is. I'll dig around on my own and see if I can come up with anything.
