Vlad, The issue you are experiencing is because the trace() method was removed out of both MG2 and MG3 a few weeks ago for CF9 compatibility. CF9 took trace as a Built in Function and as such, we had to change the name of the method.
The decision to take trace as a method name was made by the CFML language committee and was outside of the scope of influence by Model-Glue.
