Ok, that is the directory structure I thought we were dealing with.
So in that case, there should be no reason to load any config files or any
such thing from the C drive, right?  Everything is off on another drive, and
all on the same drive.

Thus, I don't think your host has really gotten to the bottom of the issue
yet.
