While others may disagree, I would say you are welcome to continue using
custom tags if have you feel you have a good library in place.  There is a
danger in using custom tags, however; for many it becomes far too easy for a
custom tag to turn into a mini-application.  Part of the beauty of MG is
that it provides well defined boundaries for organizing your application.
I've left custom tags behind completely in favor of smaller, easier to
manage, well-encapsulated pieces of code.
