Hey Denny, If you create a master Git repository for community action packs, I'd be happy to fork it for my own action pack work (once I figure out how to use Git of course).
However if you are serious about being too cool for GitHub and insist on creating your own Git hosting infrastructure first, I won't be holding my breath ;) I noticed that SourceForge.net are now offering Git hosting for their projects. Are you too cool for them as well?
