Did you define another controller in your ModelGlue.xml file and move
the appropriate message-listener nodes under that new controller
definition?
It's not uncommon to use several different controller CFCs for just
the reason that you've touched on.
<controllers>
<controller type="controller.Controller" id="Controller">
<message-listener message="onRequestStart"
function="onRequestStart" />
</controller>
<controller type="controller.NewController" id="NewController" >
<!--- This message-listener used to live in
controller.Controller definition --->
<message-listener message="needSomething"
function="doSomething" />
</controller>
</controllers>
