Hey there Doug,

Thanks for that. Just checked though and the live server is on Enterprise
and so is my local dev server.

This really is a strange one. I can't think what technically could be
stopping the error handler code in the MG core from not triggering.

Hate these kind of bizarre issues.

Subject: Re: [Model-Glue] Error trapping not working

James, I haven't seen this exact scenario before, BUT, I did recently have
an issue where something worked fine on dev but not in production, despite
the fact that the CF versions were "the same". Turns out, however, that even
though I may have CF8 dev server installed locally and CF8 Standard running
on my web server, the dev version of CF runs in Enterprise mode rather than
standard, and there can be/are some differences that can cause issues
depending on your code.

Not sure this is related to the issue, but it IS something important to keep
in mind.

Hi guys,

I have a very strange problem on a production ColdFusion 8 server
which is baffling me.

Basically, the MG error trapping is not kicking in at all and so any
errors generated in my templates are triggering a ColdFusion error.
Now the thing is, this site is running on my development server with
the exact same version of CF8 and MG3, yet the error trapping works
fine.

If I put a onError function in the application.cfc on the live site
this does fire, but the MG trapping seems to be ignored.

Has anyone seen this before and know of a way to fix it or at least
debug it?

Thanks in advance,
James.
