Ok, I will but that's a big obvious error that would not have made it anywhere near 3.1. There's got to be something I set somewhere that's causing it to generate urls like that. I guess the easiest thing to consider is if you WANTED m/g to generate urls like that with the result tag where would you go? I'd think that piece is where I need to look. That said, I haven't really changed anything. I did the .cfm rename for the config files as mentioned above but that's it as to core files. It's gotta be something simple.
