No, Everything is eventually loaded up into memory so there will be no real difference in doing this.

If you wanted to split hairs, you may notice an extremely tiny amount of extra memory used by holding the controller objects in memory, but this isn't really noticeable nor worth considering in terms of your architecture.

I have one very large Modelglue.xml and Controller.cfc.

I finally figured otu how to break up modelglue.xml into smaller xml and include them and also break down the controller.cfc into small files.

Question is there a performance hit by doing it?
