PMC Members,
I've implemented a prototype mechanism for tracking third party
dependencies of plug-in and feature based projects and have demonstrated
it to the EMO staff over the course of several years. The intent is
that it would eliminate the need for piggyback CQs. Both the filing of
them and the approval for them. Given the delays in getting this
adopted by the EMO, I'd like to request that int he interim the EMO
consider all piggyback CQs filed by all Modeling projects to be auto
approved by the Modeling PMC so that neither I nor anyone else in the
Modeling PMC need ever be bothered by them again. Given the CQs are
auto generated, I expect auto approval of piggyback CQs "no big deal".
Please express and opinion. Barring any -1s, I'll make a formal request.
