Dear Community, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask my question. If this is not the case, then I apologize and ask for a hint where I can ask it.
I am using the Banana R4 with OpenWRT 24.10.0 r28427-6df0e3d02a / LuCI openwrt-24.10 branch 25.076.76243~9c000ff. Two weeks ago I bought and installed the Quectel RM500U-CNV. Everything worked fine and the modem is recognized and addressed via MBIM. But unfortunately the ModemManager always says: 'Cannot change modes: only one combination supported' In the last few days I have read several times that the Quectel RM500U-CNV is probably not supported by ModemManager. Is this correct? And if so, will this change in the foreseeable future? And if not, can anyone give me a beginner's hint on how to get the modem to work or whether I need to buy another one? - Uwe
