Ok after asking around at the radio station, this list, irc, and a 
booth in the cafeteria, which was forced to close by security,  the 
results are in.  Of people who listen mostly to indie-rock 63% do 
drugs often, drugs illicit and alcohol, 8% did drugs but now don't 
anymore and 29% have never done drugs at all.  I polled around 150 
people I think was our last count.  Thanks for all your help.
