ok. here's what i know. i work at sub pop, and yesterday i overheard a conversation
between members of two well-known seattle bands with connections
to modest mouse (including the band involved in this controversy), but i couldn't
really determine what's going on, except that everyone is tired of the rumor-mill
circle-jerk thang. i'll have to start hanging out at the cha-cha more often to get
info on this sort of thing.
