If I had to endorse the moral character of every artist whose work I
enjoy, I would have a very small CD collection indeed. There are a
number of great artists who are or were murderers, rapists,
pedophiles, tax evaders and Republicans. Rape isn't a less serious
crime because I like to listen to "Dramamine" any more than murder is
less serious because you enjoy any movie starring OJ Simpson.
