so i just got email from a very very close friend of the murder city
devils
and this is what he says about the whole disenchantment between MM and
MCD:

All I can say, and this is not any sort of absolute truth is that yes,
The
Murder City Devils have disassociated themselves from modest mouse
because
of actions that members of that band have done. As to the extent of this
action or the length of the disassociation, I can not say.

so it could be ANYTHING here folks.
