hello all.. i happened to witness modest mouse play last night at the chameleon club in lancaster pa.... what an incredible show. Someone earlier had mentioned something about interest in what they are playing lately as far as setlists.. i managed to write down all the songs they played in order if its worth anything: new long trailer trash doin the cockroach **art of fucking people over (?)** alone down there ( satan's assistant) cowboy dan grey ice water dramamine tundra/desert encore: night of the sun breakthrough the art of fucking people over song is something i hadnt heard before on the boot page or anything... i just named it that because of a line in the song that seemed fitting for a title... the words were something to the effect of the art of fucking people over , an art all to my own... the beginning of the song sounded similar to the part of 'New long" where isaac sings "right wing, left wing, chicken wing.... i know that god is a woman yeah.." etc...does anyone have any idea what that is i am talking about?? the show was truly incredible.. anyone else who was present can attest to that.. though there wasnt much said between songs which led me to worry somewhat about what may be going on presently with rumors and all....he also brought out a danelectro guitar with lipstick pickups for night of the sun tuned something like FABGBE...im still within the afterglow of the show and the songs are still ricocheting through my head... matt.
