Red Stars Theory are sooooo good...a lot more mellow than modest
mouse. And Jeremy is also the drummer for that band.

i think you answered your own question. it's true that they only
intended to do a single or something...i don't think calvin johnson
necessarily forced them, but they've said when they got to the
studio, he kinda got recording happy so it turned into an ep...stuff
that would really never have been recorded. so they feel kinda weird
playing that stuff. although i have heard them do dirty fingernails
a few times and once they did a really cool version of the fruit that
ate itself. they played it in philly last summer....it was probably
one of the best shows i've seen.
