actually, i don't think that the east coast exists.  can't we all just
get along?

i like portland, OR for shows.  i did go to a show that was probably
imaginary in boston once.  it was in a nice, not-too-smoky bar and
helium played a good set.  i saw MM at the crystal (for the crystal
impaired: http://www.mcmenamins.com/Crystal/crystal.shtml), and
although my back never seems to feel so good after getting bounced
around on that floor for a while (these computers are aging me faster
than they should), I thought it was a pretty damn good show.  not as
good as the one I saw at bumbershoot, but blonde redhead opened and
that made everything alright.
