i haven't been that thrilled with anything i've bought lately--in my
opinion, the new built to spill album is slightly disappointing, but not bad
by any means...and the new sleater-kinney--what a fucken joke, pardon my
french. the first song and the third song are pretty good, but otherwise,
the lyrics are ridiculous (anytime a band mentions the internet in one of
their songs, they've lost me) and the music is totally repetitive and rips
off their own earlier stuff! i knew they'd pretty much gone downhill after
"dig me out", but i still had hope for this record. oh well. right now i'm
looking forward to the new rock*a*teens album, "golden time." i still
haven't gotten it in the mail yet but i saw them this weekend and they were
awesome, they played alot of new stuff. has anyone seen them
recently?...and did any of you happen to tape the show?
