BTS:
the album is polished, yes it seemed to be some kind of a letdown at first.
but if it was a stand alone record, without doug's cool as shit past
releases like early treepeople stuff, it would rule.

I mean, to me, built to spill doesn't even come close to the old treepeople
stuff.  And then the BTS started to grow on me, and each record got a bit
more polished as it went on, perfect from now on was wayyyyyyy polished and
now keep it like a secret is even more so.  But you can't say that the album
isn't brilliant, because it really is.  It's just different.  I prefer to
hear KILAS when i'm eating somewhere, or munching on a burrito at the
cha-cha.  It's different to hear it in the context of hanging out somewhere,
or on the radio.  If I put it on in my house though, I tend to turn it off
before it's over.
