damn son! hell yeah i can remember breakin. i mean, its still in full
effect(well, there arent movies being made about it anymore["Breakin"],
anyone remeber that movie...and its sequel?).
there used to be competitions at the park at the end of my block. everyone
would throw on their parachute pants and bring their biggest slab of old
cardboard. of course i was way young, so i pretty much used to follow my
brother and all his friends, and i was in charge of the boombox.
but breakdancing is very much still in effect. this the absolute most
amazing form of dance(and yet to be diluted and cashed in on). at every
krs-one show, he brings along his b-boy posse(breakers),the breeze team.
and at hip hop shows, instead of people clearing out for a mosh pit, people
clear out for breakers! you gotta love that.
