ee.. i've never done this before so i hope i'm doing it right..
i guess the whole guilty pleasure thing is kindof over now but i figured i'd
add my few anyways. does anybody remember dan hartman? he's the "i can dream
about you" and "shy hearts" man. actually i don't know if any were hits,
that album came out like the year i was born and i only found it about a
year ago at a salvation army. but it rules! and i just wanted to know if
anybody remembered him.. also roger miller? or reid paley? and this one's
really embarrasing-- edie brickell. and i don't know if this is a guilty
pleasure or not, i get teased for it, but i love the smashing pumpkins. not
the new stuff, ick, but gish.
and to the guy who was talking about breakdancing, that's not something to
be ashamed of! i wish i could breakdance! i tried when i was little,
actually i was trying to emulate the ninja turtles, i used to tie the
rounded top of a garbage can to my back and then spin on it.. turtles in a
half shell, turtle power i guess. of course whenever i went to play turtles
with my friends, they always made me be april scince im a girl. that was
kindof crappy.
hey i just saw built to spill a few weeks ago too, it was okay. they were
playing with the delusions and lily liver, i'd seen lily liver before and i
don't really like them but the delusions were pretty cool. i guess i was
just expecting a little more from bts, like stage presence or energy or
something. oh well, i still had fun. arrgh, butwhen we got to minneapolis,
my friends and i went over to Let it Be and when we got there we found out
that bts had just played a little (i think acoustic?) set and my friend bree
was already there and she saw it and she said it was awesome, that was just
our luck missing it. but we got to meet them and they signed my wallet so
everything was okay.
