Assuming that it was rape in the absense of any evidence is also silly. Talking about why it's wrong to have slaves, and why it was also wrong for Jefferson to have slaves, and then to have had sex with his slaves is a better way of talking about the whole situation. We could also talk about why Isaac should lay off the alcohol if he wants to get laid and not accused of rape. That would be more on-topic, albeit one that has been beaten to death. -selena
