"emotional", actually.  i kind of agree, but it's not as if it was FOUNDED, 
like someone was like, let's start a movement of emotional rock and call it 
this.  other people just came up with a term for all these bands that were 
kinda doing similar things, you know?  it's ridiculous but not more 
ridiculous than 'hardcore' or 'country' or 'indie pop' or any other 
designative term.  sometimes you need to have dumb labels like that so you 
know what yr talking about...how do i know if someone likes go sailor, cub, 
and the crabs?  they don't start rattling off all the names of their fave 
bands, they just say, 'i like indie pop.'  or whatever.  why am i talking?
