Hey have any of you ever heard of a comp. that is put out in England called
Volume? I got this one at a used cd shop the other day called Sharks Patrol
These Waters, the best of Volume number 2.. two discs of pure unadulterated
pleasure... it's got stuff like drugstore, love spit love, the boo radleys,
sleeper, echobelly, belly, the breeders, spiritualized, radiohead, ride (!),
Mark Lanegan, Morpine, tindersticks, cocteau twins, james, the the,
sugarcubes, pulp, suede, the auteurs, stereolab, lush, etc etc... good
stuff.. oh yeah, and a band called Mindless Drug Hoover... I love that
name.. the song is called Fuck Off... this is the first time I have ever
heard of Volume, but it must be pretty bad ass if this is a comp of the best
of the other comps they have...
