people who profit from selling boots are uncool.
end of story.
it's the sort of activity that makes bands less willing to let fans record
their shows. you're supposed to record the music simply for the enjoyment of
the music, and as most who make boots would agree, never for profit. those
with scruples and ethics would agree, i imagine, anyway. trading bootlegs is
fine and dandy - you're spreading the music between fans. but selling them
for personal profit is just, well, a shit thing to do.
and it ruins it for the rest.
you yourself said that the mouse's management contacted you personally -
didn't this give you a clue before you opened yourself up to the list?
