wow, all you people know the names of the songs and everything...
there's a song by smog where he talks about the past or something, "my hair
was long then and i..." is the only line i can remember at the moment. but
there's a horn riff at the chorus that makes it the king of all sad songs.
this sad horn part is forever stuck in my head although i can't remember any
of the words. sorry i don't know the name of it...
close seconds in my opinion would be the last song on pavement's "brighten
the corners", ("open call to all prison architects..."), "whenever i breathe
out..." by the mouse, and the entire "beheaded" album by bedhead.
