ok, first: anyone in boston should go see rye coalition, cause a friends band is opening for them. should be a good show. now, sad songs: weezer's "only in dreams" always gets me too, as does most of neutral milk hotel's album. I won't even mention Joy Division, since that is way too obvious. Elliott Smith also, especially stuff from Roman Candle (last call!!!) and his self titled album. Secret Stars' Alienation #3 is the perfect breakup song. always makes me cry. Oh, and Elvis Costello's I Want You and Indoor Fireworks. The worst is finding yourself teary eyed at a show. I'll admit, when I saw Ida and they played Dreamdate, I cried. And, when Promise Ring played A Picture Postcard...yeah. *mer*
