i was watching "the real world: hawaii" last night for kicks and they played
a song by jets to brazil...i couldnt figure out if that was good or bad...it
was nice to hear at the moment..so i guess good...i think it was starry
configurations. but it might have been sea anenome (sp?)...or one of the
slower ones on the album...
as for sad songs...here's some that always get me....
"i keep a diary" by braid -- "the transaction" by the sea and cake --
"talking shit..." or "ohio" by modest mouse --- slower songs by pulp
("dishes", "dogs are everywhere", "live bed show") --- "suki" by unrest
--"fox in the snow" by belle and sebastian --- "autumn sweater" by yo la
tengo (this song is amazing.i am surprised other people havent mentioned it)
--- "how nothing feels" the promise ring...
and..does anyone like the band flin flon? i just got their album "a-ok"...and
i love it. its really cool.i highly recommend it.
