Hello everyone.
i thinke a lot of people dislike sonic youth on this list because their best work was
released when these kids were wetting their beds. anyone who considers the simplicity
& jingle-jangle of a band like weezer to be "great" than sonic youth should suck to
them. weezer is a lot of things - like cute & cuddley & at times, witty - but their
musical talent, originality, & innovation doesn't compare at all to sonic youth's
suckiest of attempts.
can someone please explain to me what this emo craze is all about. in my
understanding, emo is rooted from hardcore & is, typically, a musical genre
distinguished with whiney fellows expressing their innermost feelings..as if
expressing feeling through making music is something new? so can one one of the
representatives of the emo scensters of america to articulate an explanation.
