ahhh yes the illustrious "c" word.
i dont believe in censorship and therefore i believe in colorful
language. the scottish and british use this word fluently to mean
something other than what it really is. although i guess "what it really
is" is all dependant on connotation rather than denotation. so like i
said in the original post, hope i didnt offend anyone but the use of the
word was specifically aimed at that one girl who wrote that one email
after the march 14th MM show at coney island high. speaking of that
show, im in the process of making mp3s of it. so you can expect those to
be going on the boots page, which, if you've forgotten, is at:
http://indieboots.digitalsushi.com/
theres some "wacky" neutral milk hotel demos and stuff up there if you
want some. and a covers page in the works. i would LOVE submissions of
covers of anything, indie or non-indie, as long as you put some heart
into it. its my goal i think to provide people who might not get a
chance to hear neat stuff to hear neat stuff. i think covers done by
regular kids are awesome. therefore, i encourage you all to contribute.
email me for details.
and surprisingly or not, before i had settled on "yars revenge" for a
title to my acoustic meanderings, i was fixated on the name "pottymouth"
as a title. but then i thought it was too much of a bratmobile
reference. although i always liked to think of it as a calvin and hobbes
reference.
whatever. this is a good list. for me to POOP on!
:D?
peace in the middle east.
