First..it's not self censorship..its taking the feelings of others into
account before you open your mouth. If your reliance on such words comes to
the point where it offends others, perhaps you have not learned the language
well enough to speak. Its not about an inabilty to express your views, or
other people stopping you from speaking your mind, but simply an empathy
that your words can and sometimes do offend and enrage others. I dont see
how taking other people's feelings into account is such a terrible
cessession of personal freedom.
Some words just force themselves out of the english language..i wouldnt go
around calling cheap people niggardly..and its probably not wise to go
around calling girls cunts..unless your ready to get into a long winded
conversation about the duality of language..which frankly im just not
willing to do to use an ass ugly word. Sometimes it sucks..i kinda dig the
happy meaning of gay..and faggot too(its got a groovy ring..like
haggis..almost..)but i dont think anyone out there is mourning the loss of
cunt..
You wear cloathing in the summer time, you shower when your stink isn't
personally offensive..whats the huge leap in tempering your language..or
maybe even elevating the syntax, if not the subject of a discussion.

I just wanted to add two pennies to this discussion of
the word "cunt" and its usage. I am particularly
referring to the fact that some people, regardless of
gender, are offended by the use of this word. Some
take umbrage simply because they are only aware of the
slang definition of this word as it has come to be
used in the colonies, specifically The New World or
North America, as it were. Others who are conscious
of the dual usage of this word still refrain from
agreeing with its utterance because of the connotation
that it affords them. Well, if we are going to
discontinue using words that might apply to the human
body, I would like to ask that you all eliminate the
following from yr new politically-correct
vocabularies:
dick
dickhead
prick
member
tool
boner
cock
pussy
cunt
twat
asshole
forearm
mandible
fibula
There are countless others, but I just don't have the
time to list them all, so please feel free to pick up
where I have left off. And in the future, I hope that
you will all censor yr own speech so that the
government no longer has to. In fact, never open yr
mouth unless you are absolutely certain that the
entire world shares yr opinion. It's imperative that
you conform with the status quo.
ALSO, if you didn't see Fight Club this weekend, then
please go immediately. If you are about to make some
idiotic remark about how the preview made it look
stupid or that you won't see Brad Pitt movies, then
may I encourage to watch more TV and never stop
sucking yr thumb.
