You see pavement seems to share this feeling about the > smashing pumpkins with me. Let us all remember back to the crooked rain era > and during Range Life when they say "out on tour, the smashing pumpkins, > nature kids they dont have no function, i dont understand what they mean and '... nature kids, I/THEY don't have no function, ...' in the studio version. [gladly being the anal retentive pavement addict.] does anyone have a copy of the show in which they covered '1979' on any sort of format? and, if so, would they be willing to become saintlike and convert it to mp3 and upload it somewhere? i'd love them forever if they did... > From: "Jay Dickason" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: something completely different... > Date: Fri, 22 Oct 1999 21:41:48 -0700 > And how does Isaac play the guitar with his mouth? > You know during Trailer Trash, he holds it up to his > face and seems to be playing it with his voice. Any > idea what I'm talking about? are you talking about when he screams into the pickups on the guitar? as in, when his voice comes through the guitar and has the neat distorted type sound? i've never seen modest mouse live due to the fact that they wanted too much money to play in the barren wasteland that i live in, but screaming into the pickups is the only freaky sort of mouth guitar thingy i've noticed from many of russ' bootlegs on his site. [and, once again, thank you russ for providing such a great collection of music to anyone who has a modem and lots of time on their hands.] -- b. ( http://www.portup.com/~koskib )
