Okay, so maybe im a little late on this topic but i didnt get to see the movie until this past weekend. In fact, i was pretty excited to see it after everyone on here kept making it sound so awesome and all. Well, i liked it but i didnt think it was the best or anything. First of all, somebody on here said something about, "you shouldnt take it that seriously", and i would have to agree. I mean, there was a little too much going on in this movie that was outside the bounds of believeable reality. One point that no one has mentioned too, is that, the main character (whatever his name was), would have to have been suffering from not only mulitple personality disorder but also a severe case of scizoprhenia. Just thought i'd point that out too (not that it matters). Fight Club was good, much better than most. But i think American Beauty was much better. I dont know, after talking about movies with my girlfriend, i think we kind of agreed that, the movies that are the best, are usually the ones that make you feel like you come away with something. Like something that you could somehow use in your life or something. Fight club was like people getting their asses kicked continuously. It just didnt seem like you could really sift anything meaningful out of it. Still a good movie, but more of a -sit back and suspend reality, eye candy, type of deal. Anyways, i agree with the whole thing about posting whatever you want. But i also agree that the posts do seem to be getting more negative and in some cases obnoxious and insulting. Cant we all just get along? Just wanted to say my piece. If you want to talk about anything specific that i said, maybe you s hould email me personally so that people on the list dont get sick of the same topic getting beaten to death. ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
